RallyMoto is the motorcycle equivalent of automobile stage rally. Similar in format to World Rally Championship (think Subaru WRX Rally Cars) riders have to navigate public and private roads interspersed with timed, full speed sections called "stages" or "specials". The route between each special is known as a "liaison" or "transit" and is run at normal road speeds. Roads in the specials are closed to public traffic, essentially turning the route into a private competition zone. Rallies typically consist of several stages and competitors aim to score the lowest combined time in the specials without incurring any penalties during the transit sections. Roll over the checkpoints on the sample rally route above to see the details of each section. |
